Our Story

Bob and Martha Seamans purchased Ocean View’s oldest surviving home in 1970. Their eight-year restoration project brought the circa 1857 home back from the brink of demolition, saving a local landmark and showcasing a fine example of 19th-century architecture. The restoration also provided a new home for Antique Prints, Inc., a business born from Bob and Martha’s passion for collecting antique prints and maps. They made these treasures available to both serious collectors and the casually curious, earning a well-respected reputation in the print and map industry over time.

In 2003, their daughter Kerry and her husband, Brandon Case, stepped in to take over Antique Prints. Both graduates of the University of Delaware, they brought their artistic and business expertise to the table, continuing the legacy of the world-class collection established by Martha and Bob.

Kerry’s experience working at Sotheby's auction house, the Metropolitan Museum of Art combined with Brandon‘s double major in business was the perfect formula to bring Antique Prints to the next level.

Currently, the collection includes over 300,000 pieces, with about 60,000 on display at their Ocean View location and at the Lewes Mercantile Antiques in downtown Lewes.
